Here is my first painting that I finished this year. I saw these old ladies sitting on a bench outside of a restaurant near a small town in Germany. What can I say? I fell in love with them. The expressions on their faces and their postures made me want to sneak over and listen to what they were saying. You may not love pictures of old ladies but I hope that you'll want to make up a story in your mind when you see this.

  1. God in Heaven Sandi, that is so beautifully done it brings tears to my eyes. Your stuff is going to eventually be on display in the Louvre. I am so very proud of you.

  3. I Think you're amazing, and I look forward to seeing each and every one of the 39 more to come this year:) If I do the math correctly.. that should be about 3.5 per month :) Wow.. You are going to be one busy lady. I guess we better get going on those art days regularly :)
    Love you. Way to go!

  4. Way to take the plunge! I'm so proud of you! You have tons of talent just waiting to burst forth :) Let me know if you ever want to get together to paint- I had a couple of busy weeks, but now I am more free and you have motivated me to get going as well. I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to 40 paintings, but I should be able to do something! Can't wait to see the next one...
